I should explain. They were both residents of Palace Street. Judy was the housekeeper and Tom was a Rhodesian guy who had overstayed his visa. Tom said to Judy "I need to get married" so they did and he stayed and they lived happily ever after. Seperately.

This was the happiest day of their married life.
