Glad you do Kit, as ,one mine went blurry very soon after that shot. It must have been Darcy's hat that jogged your memory. I think the red wine was about $1, a litre cheaper than the fuel and more potent. However I do later recall talking to a couple from Alaska but the chair I was sitting had only three legs, I think.

I was involved in the procurement of the cheap wine, from the shop that specialised in selling it, in the main town. The hose was a very good safety device, as it avoided any risk of a dislocated back while leaning towards the bottle. Not sure about the people from Alaska, but there is a very good chance that you slept outside, so perhaps the night was as cools as the brain was active?

Just an irrelevant thought, but how did we survive with out carrying plastics water bottles everywhere as is done today?

Obviously any bugs from the common shared hose did no harm either, although that may be a product of the medicinal properties of the fluid that was dispensed.
